- We will put each pen in a special "kiri bako" (paulownia wooden box) before gift-wrapping as usual. You can keep the wooden box to store your pen, as works of art are at museums.
- These MAKI-E fountain pens can only be introduced for a limited number in stock, as they are thoroughly made by hand. It takes well over a year to create a single pen. We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience in case we are out of stock.

Keep it Safe in Traditional Wooden Box.
We will put each item in a special wooden box upon delivery. This is how the Japanese has been storing works of the highest values, including art pieces at museums.
The box is hand-carved of paulownia trees. It fits more than perfectly with the matching lid, so tight that humidity, heat, and even mould are not likely to affect inside.
Item name is written on the lid in Japanese.
